Job summary

Riyad Bank in Riyadh is seeking a Business Analyst to support the development of business requirements aligned with strategy and to assist the Product Owner in managing backlog and technical specifications. You will understand business needs and drive the development, configuration, and delivery of applications and systems to improve efficiency of operations.

• Define metrics and performance goals for the product.
• Ensure BRDs are delivered from initiation to approval.
• Ensure communication with SAs to ensure proper BRD delivery.
• Support UAT and resolve bottlenecks with solution analysts, BU leads, or champions.
• Prepare timely reports of Riyad Bank to meet requirements.

Job description

Support in the Development of business requirements in line with business strategy. Support Product Owner in managing backlog by coordinating with BT on development of technical specifications

To understand/ support the business needs of the assigned area of responsibility and to proceed to the development, configurations and delivery of the applications and systems required for efficiency and effectiveness of the business operations.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
• Determines scope and time of work.
• Coordinates with the different stakeholders from the BU, the broader organization, and customers, to capture input for the requirements.
• Supports the elaboration of Business Case.
• Identifies and define detailed product requirements, use cases, and UAT test cases and assist in translating into test conditions & expected results.
• Assists Product Owner with User Stories and prepare mockups/ wireframes.
• Map existing business processes and analyze & design new processes.
• Defines metrics and performance goals for the product.
• Participates in transitioning the requirements and use cases to solution analysts and designers and ensure a clear and complete understanding.
• Follows up and ensure the success of the UAT and resolve or elevate any bottlenecks to the solution analyst, BU leads, or champions.
• Establishes the traceability of requirements to validate the dependencies between the deliverables and the inputs.
• Ensures the delivery of the assigned BRDs from the initiation till the approval of the BRD.
• Ensures the proper communication with the SAs to ensure the proper delivery of the BRD.
• Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
