Job summary

InnovationTeam in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to bridge between KSA-based clients, product leads, and offshore engineering teams. You will decompose complex business visions into precise, technical specifications and drive SDLC processes with professional maturity.

Native Arabic fluency plus strong English communication are essential. You will document BRDs, SRS, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria, model processes with BPMN 2.0, and manage the backlog in Jira

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, with a proven track record in Mobile & Web Product Development.
• Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies, requirement elicitation, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to extract, challenge, and refine business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Produce high-quality, developer-ready documentation, including BRDs, SRS, and detailed User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria (Gherkin style preferred).
• Architect logical solution flows using BPMN 2.0, flowcharts, state diagrams, sequence diagrams, ERDs, and integration mappings.
• Own and maintain the product backlog in Jira or Azure DevOps, ensuring items are prioritized, estimated, and meet the Definition of Ready.
• Collaborate with QA teams to align test cases with business logic and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles with clients.
• Ensure system logic and user flows are culturally and linguistically optimized for the KSA market.

Job Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Riyadh. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between our KSA-based clients, product leads, and offshore engineering teams. We are looking for an analytical powerhouse who excels at decomposing complex business visions into precise, technical specifications. The ideal candidate is a native Arabic speaker who understands the nuances of the Saudi market and can navigate the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with technical rigor and professional maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Engineering: Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to extract, challenge, and refine business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality, developer-ready documentation, including BRDs, SRS, and detailed User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria (Gherkin style preferred).
• System & Process Modeling: Architect logical solution flows using BPMN 2.0, flowcharts, state diagrams, sequence diagrams, ERDs, and integration mappings.
• Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog in Jira or Azure DevOps, ensuring items are prioritized, estimated, and meet the Definition of Ready.
• Validation & QA Support: Collaborate with QA teams to align test cases with business logic and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles with clients.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience: 6+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, with a proven track record in Mobile & Web Product Development.

Process & Tool Proficiency:

• Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies, requirement elicitation, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience with backlog and collaboration tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and MS Visio (or similar).
• Deep understanding of SDLC and Scrum agile frameworks.

Data & Technical Skills:

• Practical knowledge of databases and SQL querying.
• Familiarity with BI reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Pega knowledge is a plus.

Communication & Domain Knowledge:

• Native Arabic speaker with excellent English fluency (written and spoken).
• Ability to present complex technical logic clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with KSA digital transformation trends and regulatory environments is a strong plus.
