Job summary

Novotel Thakher Makkah is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie Bakery to join our culinary team. You will lead bakery production, ensuring high-quality breads, pastries and desserts while upholding taste, presentation and safety standards.

Responsibilities include following recipes, supervising bakery staff, maintaining HACCP compliance, coordinating with other kitchen sections, and supporting senior chefs during service and events in a fast-paced hotel environment in Medina region.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Bakery Chef or similar in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of bakery production techniques and dough handling.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality and presentation.
• Familiarity with HACCP and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce breads, rolls, pastries to recipe standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, quality, and portioning.
• Maintain ingredients, equipment and workstation hygiene.
• Follow HACCP food safety and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen sections to ensure timely production.
• Assist with buffets, events and special functions.
• Train junior kitchen team members when required.
