Job summary

Raffles Hotels & Resorts seeks an experienced Public Area Supervisor for the Red Sea luxury resort in Umluj. You will oversee daily cleaning across shared spaces and lead a team of attendants and supervisors, ensuring impeccable presentation and guest comfort.

Responsibilities include coordinating cleaning programs, inspecting quality to meet LQA standards, and collaborating with Engineering, Front Office and F&B to resolve guest concerns while upholding sustainability protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in luxury hospitality housekeeping with supervisory/assistant management experience.
• Pre-opening experience including project coordination and document control for the destination.
• Proficiency with property management systems (Opera) and specialized cleaning techniques for high-end finishes.
• A proactive, anticipatory approach with impeccable grooming and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Commitment to sustainability and Red Sea Global ethos in daily practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Assist the Public Area Manager in directing daily cleaning operations across all shared spaces, including lobbies, restaurants, elevators, and outdoor arrival areas.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct frequent inspections to ensure all surfaces, furnishings, and decorative elements meet the strict Luxury Quality Assessment (LQA) standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Public Area Attendants and Supervisors, fostering a culture of "heartfelt hospitality" and anticipatory service.
• Program Planning: Coordinate routine and deep-cleaning programs, such as marble polishing, carpet shampooing, and special setups for VIP arrivals or events.
• Departmental Collaboration: Liaise with Engineering, Front Office, and F&B to address maintenance needs or guest concerns promptly.
• Resource Management: Monitor the usage and inventory of eco-friendly cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring adherence to the resort’s sustainability and safety protocols.

Qualifications
