Mercor seeks native Telugu annotators to structure and transcribe Telugu documents with exacting accuracy. Work includes identifying page regions, assigning reading order, and linking regions to their respective figures or tables.

You will also record metadata and flag difficult or illegible areas for review. The role emphasizes consistent taxonomy across hundreds of pages, handling complex layouts like multi-column text and handwritten content, with end-to-end quality checks by a second Telugu

Qualificações

• Native Telugu speaker with full command of Telugu script and orthography.
• Experience annotating and transcribing documents with character-level accuracy.
• Ability to apply a consistent taxonomy across pages.
• Comfortable with multi-column layouts, handwritten content, and varied formats.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and bound every meaningful page region (title, heading, paragraph, list, table, figure, caption, etc.) and assign component types and reading order.
• Transcribe Telugu text exactly as it appears, including handwritten content.
• Record page metadata (language, document type, source, dimensions) and flag tables, formulas, and handwriting.
• Review a colleague's work as part of end-to-end verification by a second Telugu expert.
