Mercor is seeking an exceptionally precise Odiya-language annotator to handle document transcription and structure tagging. You will ensure accurate region boundaries, reading orders, and faithful script reproduction while flagging unreadable content.

Ideal candidates are native Odiya speakers with meticulous attention to diacritics and conjunct forms, experienced with multilingual dataset tasks and quality reviews.

Qualificações

• Native Odiya speaker with full command of the script and orthography.
• Experience with document annotation, transcription, localization or related data review is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to script accuracy, including diacritics and conjunct forms.

Responsabilidades

• Open and verify tasks: confirm pages are in Odiya, legible, with real content and no personal details.
• Annotate structure: bound every meaningful region with a type and reading-order index.
• Record relationships: link regions to the corresponding figure or table via parent IDs.
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce all text exactly in Odiya script and flag illegible areas.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, dimensions, and flags for tables and handwriting.
• Review colleagues' work: ensure accuracy through second-expert review.
