Mercor is building training data for Malayalam and other Indic scripts. You will open pages, verify language, and annotate the page structure, bounding regions like titles, headings, paragraphs, tables, figures, and captions, assigning types and reading order. You will transcribe faithfully in Malayalam and capture page metadata.

The role requires accuracy, consistency, and a methodical approach across hundreds of pages. Colleagues will review work, ensuring quality from first pass.

Qualificações

• Native Malayalam speaker with full command of Malayalam script.
• Experience with document annotation, transcription, or localization is preferred.
• High precision, accurate character-level transcription required.

Responsabilidades

• Annotate page structure and reading order for Malayalam documents.
• Transcribe text exactly in Malayalam script, including handwriting.
• Review work with a second Malayalam expert.
