A leading IT consulting firm in Lisbon seeks a Technician Production Support to oversee and optimize its cash equities execution platform. The role involves monitoring performance, enhancing issue resolution processes, and collaborating with traders and developers for improvements. Qualificações

• Knowledge of TCP and UDP protocols.
• Experience in scripting with Unix/Linux shell or Python.
• Familiarity with SQL and messaging technologies.
• Experience with messaging systems: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka.
• Observability and monitoring with tools like ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.

Responsabilidades

• Support and monitor the cash equities execution platform.
• Build and enhance monitoring to quickly resolve issues.
• Deploy production changes while maintaining service integrity.
• Work closely with traders and developers for process improvements.
• Manage incident analysis and reporting.

We are looking for an Technician Production Support!

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor the cash equities execution platform to ensure stability and optimal performance
• Build and enhance monitoring to prevent and quickly resolve issues.
• Deploy production changes with precision ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining the integrity of the platform.
• Work closely with traders, developers, and other stakeholders to implement continuous process improvements.
• Manage incident including detailed analysis and reporting to maintain high service levels.

Requirements

• Knowledge of network technologies and protocols – specifically TCP and UDP.
• Basic scripting skills (Unix/Linux shell, Python, Perl for scripting, any other programming language, e.g. C, C++, Java).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Messaging: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka.
• Observability and monitoring: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
