A leading IT consulting firm in Lisbon seeks a Technician Production Support & Sys Admin to ensure stability of the cash equities execution platform. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, deploying production changes, and managing incidents. Qualified candidates should have knowledge of network technologies, basic scripting skills, and experience with monitoring tools. Good English proficiency is required. Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of TCP/UDP networking concepts.
• Scripting in Unix/Linux shells, Python, or Perl.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with messaging systems: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Good level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Support and monitor the cash equities execution platform for stability and optimal performance.
• Build and enhance monitoring to prevent and resolve issues.
• Deploy production changes with precision ensuring minimal disruption.
• Work closely with traders, developers, and stakeholders for process improvements.
• Manage incidents including analysis and reporting to maintain service levels.

Conhecimentos

Knowledge of network technologies and protocols – specifically TCP and UDP

Basic scripting skills (Unix/Linux shell, Python, Perl)

Basic SQL knowledge

Experience with messaging: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka

Observability and monitoring tools: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana

Good level of English

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor the cash equities execution platform to ensure stability and optimal performance
• Build and enhance monitoring to prevent and quickly resolve issues.
• Deploy production changes with precision ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining the integrity of the platform.
• Work closely with traders, developers, and other stakeholders to implement continuous process improvements.
• Manage incident including detailed analysis and reporting to maintain high service levels.

Requirements

• Knowledge of network technologies and protocols – specifically TCP and UDP.
• Basic scripting skills (Unix/Linux shell, Python, Perl for scripting, any other programming language, e.g. C, C++, Java).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Messaging: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka.
• Observability and monitoring: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Good level of english.
