Decskill is seeking engineers in Portugal with strong Telecommunications, SCADA, and HMI experience to design, integrate, and validate systems for industrial and telecom environments.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, contributing to project definitions, interfaces, and documentation, while supporting testing, FAT, and on-site commissioning when needed.

Qualificações

• University degree in Electronics Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in Telecommunications engineering and telecom design activities.
• Experience with design, specification and integration of telecommunications systems.
• Experience in engineering, configuration and/or implementation of SCADA systems.
• Experience with SCADA architecture, configuration, integration and validation.
• Knowledge of integrated control and monitoring systems is desirable.
• Experience with interfaces between SCADA and other control/monitoring/field systems is an advantage.
• Experience in HMI design and development.
• Ability to define interfaces between systems/subsystems.
• Experience participating in design reviews and providing technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of configuration management and change control processes.
• Experience supporting testing, FAT, field configuration and commissioning activities.
• Willingness to support onsite installation and commissioning when required.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Experience with CAD design tools is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

Requirements

Education

• University degree in Electronics Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field .

Telecommunications

• Proven professional experience in Telecommunications Engineering and Telecom Design activities .
• Experience with the design, specification and integration of telecommunications systems and solutions .
• Ability to analyse technical requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.

SCADA & Control Systems

• Previous professional experience in the engineering, configuration and/or implementation of SCADA systems .
• Experience with SCADA system architecture, configuration, integration and validation .
• Knowledge of integrated control and monitoring systems is highly desirable.
• Experience working with interfaces between SCADA and other control, monitoring or field systems is an advantage.

HMI

• Previous experience in HMI design and development is highly desirable.
• Ability to define and implement user interfaces for industrial/control and monitoring systems .
• Understanding of usability, alarms, monitoring views and operator interaction is an advantage.
• Experience in subsystem development, integration and validation .
• Ability to manage and track technical requirements within the assigned domain.
• Experience defining and managing technical interfaces between systems/subsystems .
• Experience participating in design reviews and providing technical support to customers and internal engineering teams.
• Knowledge of configuration management and change control processes.
• Experience supporting testing, FAT, field configuration and commissioning activities .
• Willingness to support onsite installation and commissioning when required.

Technical Documentation

• Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including:
• System Requirements
• Design Documents
• Configuration Documents
• Test Procedures
• Operations & Maintenance Documentation
• Training Documentation
• Ability to formalise technical specifications and engineering plans .
• Experience preparing training documentation and providing technical training is an advantage.

Tools

• Good knowledge of MS Office tools .
• Experience with CAD design tools is an advantage.
