Decskill is growing and seeking a Windows System Administration & Application Support specialist to join our IT team. Based in Lisbon, you will handle user and incident support, monitor systems, manage releases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service stability.

You will bring experience in IT Application Support, proficiency in SQL and Windows administration, with knowledge of Ansible and Dynatrace.

Responsabilidades

• User & Incident Support – Receive, triage, and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets.
• Monitoring & Alerting – Monitor application health, contribute to health checks and alerting, and proactively identify performance degradation.
• Release & Change Management – Prepare pre-production and production environments, support deployments and change implementations.
• Post-Incident Reviews – Participate in post-mortem reviews and document root cause analyses (RCA).
• Knowledge Management – Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Collaboration – Work with cross-functional teams to ensure service stability and continuous improvement.
• Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve support processes and automation.

We are looking for an Windows System Administration & Application Support !

Responsabilities:

• User & Incident Support – Receive, triage, and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets. Communicate status updates and workarounds to business users.
• Monitoring & Alerting – Monitor application health, contribute to health checks and alerting, and proactively identify performance degradation using tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or Prometheus.
• Release & Change Management – Prepare pre-production and production environments, support application releases and change implementations, and coordinate deployment activities.
• Post-Incident Reviews – Participate in post-mortem reviews, document root cause analyses (RCA), and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
• Knowledge Management – Create, maintain, and continuously improve technical documentation, knowledge base articles, FAQs, and how-to guides.
• Collaboration – Work closely with Application Support, Development, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams to ensure service stability and continuous improvement.
• Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve support processes, automation, monitoring, and operational tooling through metrics-driven initiatives.

Requirements:

• Experience in IT Application Support.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Proficient in Windows administration.
• Proficient in automation with Ansible. (Big Plus)
• Proficient in application monitoring using Dynatrace. (Plus)
• Proficient understanding of Cloud Fundamentals.
• Strong behavioral competencies, including resilience, teamwork, and client focus.
• Innovative and transformational mindset.
• ITIL Certification.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
