Decskill, an IT consulting company with a strong local culture and global presence, is hiring a Technical Engineer Production Support. You will own IT projects end-to-end, lead technical teams, act as the main technical contact, and design architecture and production-ready infrastructure.

You will drive Cloud, DevOps, and automation practices while ensuring security, governance, and performance across international teams.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Technical Project Management, Infrastructure or Production Support.
• End-to-end IT project experience, from design to production transition.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, production environments and application support.
• Hands-on Linux experience; exposure to WebSphere, Oracle, Autosys and CFT.
• Cloud technologies knowledge; AWS, Azure or GCP preferred.
• DevOps, CI/CD and automation experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Monitoring & Observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
• Knowledge of Ansible and IaC.
• Experience managing scope, budget, resources, timelines, risks and dependencies.
• Strong IT governance, methodologies and production processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a complex international environment; Fluent English.
• Cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner / Azure Fundamentals is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Take end-to-end ownership of IT projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, budget and quality.
• Lead and coordinate technical teams, stakeholders and external contributors.
• Act as the main technical point of contact across business, IT, infrastructure and application teams.
• Design, coordinate and implement technical architecture and infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure successful transition of solutions into production with Application Support and Operations.
• Provide Level 3 technical support and perform advanced activities in production environments.
• Ensure availability, stability, resilience and operational readiness of production environments.
• Define and validate production support SLAs and KPIs with monitoring and observability.
• Drive adoption of Cloud, DevOps, Agile, CI/CD and automation practices.
• Contribute to Move-to-Cloud projects and Cloud transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate governance, reporting, steering meetings and stakeholder communication.
• Manage project budget, resources, timelines, risks, dependencies and technical constraints.
• Ensure integration of obsolescence, resilience, security and cost optimisation into planning.
• Work with teams to ensure compliance with security, financial, operational and technology standards.
• Identify automation, standardisation, optimisation and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into technical IT solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, processes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation of new tools, technologies and ways of working across teams.
• Collaborate effectively in an international environment with technical and functional stakeholders.

We are looking for an Technical Engineer Production Support !

Responsabilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of IT projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate technical teams, stakeholders and external contributors throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure the successful transition of solutions into production, working closely with Application Support and Operations teams.
• Provide Level 3 technical support and perform advanced technical activities in production environments when required.
• Ensure the availability, stability, resilience and operational readiness of production environments.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Technical Project Management, Infrastructure or Production Support.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects, from design and implementation to production transition.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, production environments and application support.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux and exposure to WebSphere, Oracle, Autosys and CFT.
• Good knowledge of Cloud technologies, preferably AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and automation, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Monitoring & Observability tools, ideally Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resources, timelines, risks and dependencies.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, project methodologies and production processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a complex international environment.
• Fluent English – written and spoken.
