Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to lead the deployment of cloud-based ServiceNow solutions for top-tier clients. Remote from Spain or Portugal, you will develop modules, configure the platform, and deliver high-quality technical solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include configuring, integrating, and maintaining ServiceNow subsystems, creating workflows, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, and implementation across multiple modules.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) — required.
CAD or CIS certifications — desired.
Strong scripting knowledge in JavaScript including GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
Experience with major ServiceNow suites: ITSM, HAM/SAM, ITOM, or SecOps-SIR.
Experience with CMDB, CSDM, and data transforms via Import Sets and Transform Maps.
REST/SOAP integrations, Integration Hub, and JDBC experience.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP, Azure, AD, Teams, Snowflake, or Power BI.
ITIL-based ITSM knowledge; Agile and DevOps for dev/release.
Degree in Software/Electronic Engineering or related field.
Excellent communication; fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform core configuration and customisation tasks on the ServiceNow platform.
Design and develop custom applications, forms, lists, reports, and dashboards.
Create and optimise workflows for Service Catalog and ITIL processes.
Develop and maintain the Service Portal using HTML/CSS/AngularJS.
Implement and support integrations using REST/SOAP, Integration Hub, and JDBC.
Manage platform data with Import Sets and Transform Maps; ensure CMDB integrity.
Collaborate with Functional Consultants to translate requirements into designs.
Conduct unit testing, support QA/UAT, and manage code migrations.
Adhere to best practices to minimise technical debt and ensure stability.
Produce detailed technical documentation and post-implementation guides.
Communicate issues and solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide 2nd/3rd level ServiceNow support for incidents, enhancements, and defects.
