This hybrid position requires three onsite days in Lisbon, Portugal. The initial contract runs from September 1, 2026, to March 1, 2027, with a maximum rate of 45 EUR per hour, offering collaboration with DevOps, SREs, and development teams.

Qualificações

• 6–9 years of experience in application or technical support.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Foundational knowledge of microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with Atlassian products.
• Experience with a programming or scripting language is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with end users to analyze and document issues and drive resolution.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SREs, Test Engineers, and Development teams for permanent fixes.
• Advance monitoring and ensure 24/7 availability via on-call support.
• Work with IT and business teams to improve availability, performance, and security of platforms.
• Utilize Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB and Docker in daily operations.

The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of providing world-class application support, with a keen interest in cloud technology, microservices, and machine learning.

Main Responsibilities

• Engage with application end users to analyze and document issues and take responsibility for their successful resolution.
• Work closely with DevOps, SREs, Test Engineers, and Development teams to implement permanent solutions.
• Further advance our monitoring framework and ensure 24/7 system and support availability via on-call support.
• Collaborate with both IT and business teams to improve the availability, performance, functionality, and security of our platforms.
• Utilize industry-leading technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, and Docker.

Key Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in application or technical support.
• Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Foundational knowledge of microservice architecture and ITSM tools.
• Familiarity with Atlassian products.
• Experience with a programming or scripting language is a plus.
• Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity.
• Excellent communication skills and command of the English language.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay organized.

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Knowledge in advanced application performance optimization techniques.
