Adentis Portugal is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to maintain and optimize critical business applications in distributed microservices environments.

You will collaborate with Dev and Infra teams, troubleshoot REST/SOAP APIs, monitor incidents, and drive tasks using ServiceNow, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in Application/Functional Support.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong API troubleshooting (REST/SOAP).
• SQL data validation basics.
• ITSM tools experience (ServiceNow or similar).
• OpenShift/Kubernetes experience.
• IBM API Connect experience.
• Frontend knowledge (React/Angular) for functional analysis.
• APM tools (Dynatrace).
• Log analysis with Kibana.
• Basic Python or scripting.
• Independent, solution-oriented, and good communication.
• English and Portuguese bilingual.

Responsabilidades

• Provide functional and technical support for critical business applications in distributed microservices environments
• Monitor and manage production incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal business impact
• Perform API and integration troubleshooting, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure system stability
• Analyze logs, metrics, and alerts using monitoring and observability tools
• Manage and track support tickets using ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Participate in an on-call support rotation, according to the defined support model

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Application Support / Functional Support
• Experience working with microservices and distributed systems
• Strong experience in API troubleshooting (REST / SOAP)
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar)
• Experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes
• Experience with IBM API Connect
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (React / Angular) for functional analysis
• Experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace)
• Experience with log analysis tools (e.g., Kibana)
• Basic knowledge of Python or scripting
• Ability to work independently and in a solution-oriented manner
• Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
