PrimeIT is seeking an Application Production Support professional for locations in Lisbon and Porto. The role targets mid-level experience (3–6 years) with a base salary ranging from €1,200 to €2,000 plus food allowance and flexible benefits.

The candidate will respond to users, fix issues, monitor the application, and manage releases and upgrades. Tech skills include Linux, SQL, Bash/Python, Ansible, Terraform/Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and ITIL/ITSM processes.

Qualificações

• Proficient in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong SQL skills across MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MS-SQL.
• Scripting in Bash and Python for log parsing and health checks.
• Experience with Ansible and CI/CD integrations.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding ITIL/ITSM processes and incident/change management.

We are looking for a Application Production Support!

Location: Lisbon | Porto

Level of Experience: Mid (3 to 6 years)

What are we looking for?

• Responds to users and fixes technical, functional or business logic issues within an application.
• Implementing monitoring and supervise the application’s technical and functional components.
• Orchestrating and managing the various releases within the scope.
• Managing requests for functiona/ technical upgrades.
• Performing technical integration of applications based on existing products and services, in order to reduce implementation times.
• Creating and enriching the application document baseline. Maintaining operating procedures.
• Contributing to the processes belonging to the activity in compliance with requirements and carrying out the necessary remediations.
• Analysing, measuring and improving the performance of the application’s technical and functional components in order to improve the user experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux (RHEL 7/8, SLES, Ubuntu) – system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, kernel parameters.
• Proficient in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MS‑SQL) – writing/optimising queries, analysing execution plans, basic DBA tasks (user/role management, backups).
• Bash / Python (or PowerShell on Windows) – scripting for log parsing, health‑checks, incident remediation.
• Experience with DevOps:
• Ansible – playbook authoring, role development, inventory management, integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of Terraform / Helm (optional) for infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (basic pod debugging, log aggregation).
• Monitoring
• Dynatrace – configuration of agents, custom metrics, dashboard creation, problem detection, root‑cause analysis.
• Familiarity with Prometheus / Grafana
• Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, release).
• Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management).
