Job summary

Jobgether, based in Portugal, is seeking an AI Support Operations Specialist to own an AI-powered customer support agent in a fully remote, international environment. You will work at the intersection of AI operations, customer care, product development, and technical implementation to deliver faster, more human customer interactions while ensuring seamless escalation to human support when needed.

• Hands-on Intercom Fin experience with measurable results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with empathetic responses.
• Analytical abilities to identify patterns and root causes.
• Technical confidence to discuss integrations with engineering teams.
• Interest in AI-powered support and ability to experiment with new tools.
• Ability to translate findings into clear recommendations and coordinate across teams.
• Proactive, independent mindset with initiative to test new approaches.
• Customer-centric approach to improving experiences in a global context.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize AI support performance and escalation decisions.
• Maintain accurate knowledge with current information.
• Analyze performance to identify root causes and opportunities.
• Design tests and measure impact of changes.
• Configure AI behavior and workflows within Intercom Fin.
• Improve human handoffs to ensure smooth transitions.
• Expand AI capabilities across products and journeys.
• Monitor emerging AI technologies and run experiments.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvements with product, engineering, compliance.
• Communicate results to leadership and prioritize improvement requests.
