Job summary

Doxis Portugal is seeking a Night Shift Service Desk Specialist in Porto to keep IT systems running around the clock. You will be the trusted point of contact during off-hours, handling inquiries, providing 1st level support, and ensuring business continuity.

You’ll work with Windows and Linux environments, monitor systems, document incidents, and collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams for escalation.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or related field.
• Experience with international clients and collaboration.
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of SQL or Java app servers (Wildfly, Tomcat).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Handle and qualify customer inquiries via ticketing system, email, and phone.
• Provide 1st level support (and occasional 2nd level tasks).
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor systems and proactively identify potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and internal processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams for escalation and resolution.
• Maintain clear documentation of incidents and solutions.
