Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist in Portugal. You will support daily finance tasks, including invoice processing, payment allocation and customer account updates, while learning finance systems and O2C processes.

Ideal candidates have 6 months AR/O2C experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and fluency in French and English. The role offers hybrid work, relocation assistance, meal allowance and health & life insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Order-to-Cash (O2C) or Finance Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Fluent in French (C1/C2) and English (C1).

Responsibilities

• Support invoice processing, payment allocation and customer account updates.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
• Review financial documents and verify customer account information.
• Assist with account reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update information in internal systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related queries.
• Follow established financial procedures, internal controls and quality standards.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases to senior colleagues.
• Meet KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, processing times and quality.
• Participate in training to develop knowledge of finance systems and O2C processes.
