Cross Border Talents is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist in Porto, Portugal. You will support daily finance activities including invoice processing, payment allocation, and account updates, while collaborating with experienced colleagues to ensure accurate transactions and efficient customer account management.

The role requires fluent French and English, EU citizenship or Portuguese residency, and a background in accounting/finance with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years in supervisory or team lead role (per description).

Responsabilités

• Support invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
• Review financial documents and verify customer information.
• Assist with account reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update information in internal systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related queries.
• Follow established financial procedures, internal controls, and quality standards.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases to senior colleagues.
• Meet KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, processing times, and quality.
• Participate in training to develop knowledge of finance systems and O2C processes.
