Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Porto is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist to support daily finance activities including invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates. You will work with experienced colleagues to ensure accurate processing and efficient account management.

The role requires 6 months AR/O2C/Finance Ops experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Order-to-Cash (O2C), or Finance Operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Fluent in French (C1/C2) and English (C1).
EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency card.

Responsibilities

Support invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates.
Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
Review financial documents and verify customer account information.
Assist with account reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records and update information in internal systems.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related queries.
Follow established financial procedures, internal controls, and quality standards.
Identify discrepancies and elevate complex cases to senior colleagues.
Meet KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, processing times, and quality.
Participate in training to develop knowledge of finance systems and O2C processes.
