Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist in Porto to support daily finance activities such as invoice processing, payment allocation, and account updates. You will work with experienced colleagues to ensure accurate transaction processing and efficient customer account management.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ months AR/O2C/Finance Ops experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Order-to-Cash (O2C), or Finance Operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English (C1).

Responsibilities

Support invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates.
Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
Review financial documents and verify customer account information.
Assist with account reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records and update information in internal systems.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related queries.
Follow established financial procedures, internal controls, and quality standards.
Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases to senior colleagues.
Meet KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, processing times, and quality.
Participate in training to develop knowledge of finance systems and O2C processes.
