Cross Border Talents in Portugal is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist to support daily finance activities, including invoice processing and payment allocation. You will work with an international team to ensure accurate transactions and up-to-date customer accounts.

The role emphasizes learning O2C processes, achieving KPIs for accuracy and processing times, and collaborating with internal teams. Hybrid work arrangement and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Order-to-Cash (O2C) or Finance Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English (C1).
• EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency card.

Responsibilities

• Support invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
• Review financial documents and verify customer account information.
• Assist with account reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update information in internal systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related queries.
• Follow established financial procedures, internal controls, and quality standards.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases to senior colleagues.
• Meet KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, processing times, and quality.
• Participate in training to develop knowledge of finance systems and O2C processes.
