CloserHire in Porto is seeking a customer care specialist to provide technical support for diabetes medical devices. You will handle order management, provide multi-channel assistance, and ensure compliant support processes in a busy environment.

The role is full-time, on-site, with training, health and life insurance from day one, meal allowance, and international career development opportunities. English and Italian language skills are highly valued for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or technical support is preferred.
• English language proficiency at a high level (C1 or above).
• Italian language proficiency (C1+), plus strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of diabetes care or medical devices is a plus.

What the job actually involves

Day to day you will be provide customer care and technical assistance for diabetes medical devices, ensuring accurate order management and high-quality support. Deliver troubleshooting and technical support for medical devices and accessories. Assist customers with product usage across multiple channels (calls, email, chat, SMS). Manage order intake, renewals, and related documentation in compliance with procedures. Apply active listening, empathy, and professionalism in sensitive or challenging situations. Follow defined scripts and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

What you'll earn

1000€ x 14 + 100€ Complexity Bonus paid

Portuguese contracts pay 14 salaries a year — your normal monthly salary plus a holiday and a Christmas salary. The annual figure is therefore well above monthly × 12, which is worth doing the maths on before you compare it to an offer at home.

Getting you there

To help you make the move: accomodation for candidates outside of Portugal - Room in company apartment in Lisbon for 12 months for a fixed cost of 280EUR, deducted from salary. Inside, portugal - only available if candidates are coming directly from a competitor Health, insurance since day 1 for small amount, free after 6 months, notes: "Monday to Sunday - 24/7 (Rotative shifts) Days, off - 2 Rotative days Night, and shift (22:00 to 07:00) – The night shift team is quite small, so each agent may only be required to cover this schedule occasionally during the month. Nevertheless, candidates must be aware of and comfortable with a 24/7 work rotation. Welcome bonus will be paid in 12 monthly instalments (1/12 per month) during the first year of employment.
