CloserHire is partnering with a global leader to recruit Italian-speaking Customer Support Advisors for a Porto project. You will assist customers using diabetes medical devices, manage orders, and provide empathetic, multichannel support across Europe.

Role requires Italian (C1+) and English (C1). The position is on-site in Porto with 14 salaries per year plus a 100€ complexity bonus and relocation support.

About the role

CloserHire is partnering with a global leader in customer experience and business solutions to recruit Italian-speaking Customer Support Advisors for a project in Porto. You will be supporting a world leader in insulin delivery and diabetes technology, providing empathetic and professional assistance to customers using advanced medical devices that improve lives across Europe.

What you'll do

• Provide customer care and technical assistance for diabetes medical devices, ensuring accurate order management and high-quality support. Deliver troubleshooting and technical support for medical devices and accessories. Assist customers with product usage across multiple channels (calls, email, chat, SMS). Manage order intake, renewals, and related documentation in compliance with procedures. Apply active listening, empathy, and professionalism in sensitive or challenging situations. Follow defined scripts and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Fluent
• Italian (C1+) and strong
• English skills (C1). Ability to support multiple
• European markets simultaneously. Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or technical support is an advantage. Knowledge of diabetes care or medical devices is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong ability to manage large volumes of information and documentation. Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritising tasks effectively. Stress management skills and ability to remain calm in urgent or challenging cases. Active listening and empathy to resolve customer concerns

Salary

1000€ x 14 + 100€ Complexity Bonus paid

Portuguese contracts pay 14 salaries a year — your normal monthly salary plus a holiday and a Christmas salary. The annual figure is therefore well above monthly × 12, which is worth doing the maths on before you compare it to an offer at home.

Relocation support

• Accomodation for candidates outside of Portugal - Room in company apartment in Porto for 12 months for a fixed cost of 280EUR, deducted from salary. Inside
• Portugal - only available if candidates are coming directly from a competitor Health
• Insurance since day 1 for small amount, free after 6 months
• Notes: "Monday to Sunday - 24/7 (Rotative shifts) Days
• Off - 2 Rotative days Night
• Shift (22:00 to 07:00) – The night shift team is quite small, so each agent may only be required to cover this schedule occasionally during the month. Nevertheless, candidates must be aware of and comfortable with a 24/7 work rotation. Welcome bonus will be paid in 12 monthly instalments (1/12 per month) during the first year of employment
