Job summary

Randstad Portugal is hiring an IT Support Technician for Parfois stores across Portugal and beyond. You will provide 1st-line support for store hardware and software, handle incidents, and manage access for store employees.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service, multilingual communication (Portuguese, Spanish, English; French/Spanish a plus), and collaboration with IT teams to drive improvements in store IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting store hardware and software (POS, payment terminals, printers, scanners, tablets).
• Knowledge of networks and connectivity (VPNs, routers, troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with ERP/retail systems (SAP Retail, Oracle, Dynamics or equivalent).
• Multilingual, ideally Portuguese, Spanish, and English; other languages relevant to the operation are a plus.
• Internal customer orientation with clear and empathetic communication.
• Ability to manage stress, teamwork, and a collaborative spirit.
• Advanced French or Spanish.

• Promote continuous improvement of Information Systems processes and procedures regarding the IT infrastructure of Parfois stores.
• Escalate critical incidents that impact sales when necessary.

We are looking to hire an IT Support Technician for a leading client in the retail sector.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure operational and application support for Parfois stores (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Mexico);
• Rapidly resolve or escalate critical incidents that impact sales;
• Provide 1st-line support (phone, email, portal, chat) for reported incidents and requests;
• Manage access and credentials for store employees;
• Promote continuous improvement of Information Systems processes and procedures regarding the IT infrastructure of Parfois stores.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12th-grade education / high school diploma (preferably from a professional technical course);
• Experience supporting store hardware and software (POS, payment terminals, receipt printers, scanners, tablets);
• Knowledge of networks and connectivity (VPNs, routers, internet troubleshooting);
• Familiarity with ERP/retail systems (SAP Retail, Oracle, Dynamics, or equivalent);
• Multilingual (ideally Portuguese, Spanish, and English; other languages relevant to the operation are a plus);
• Internal customer orientation with clear and empathetic communication;
• Ability to manage stress, teamwork, and a collaborative spirit;
