Job summary

ebankIT is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our expanding Sales team in Porto, Portugal. You will act as a technical bridge between technology and business, helping financial institutions understand how ebankIT's Omnichannel Digital Banking Platform can address their challenges and drive growth.

You will develop strategic partnerships, engage with clients and prospects, and support the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, with opportunities to travel

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing international networks of System Integrator partners.
• Experience in international business environments.
• Sales experience in Digital Banking, Fintech, SaaS, or Software.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert throughout the sales cycle, supporting commercial engagements and strategic opportunities.
• Understand customer business and technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct discovery sessions, customer meetings, and product demonstrations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Support implementation partners throughout customer engagements and solution adoption.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals and provide technical guidance throughout the sales process.
• Identify new business opportunities, contribute to upselling initiatives, and support sales growth.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and support deal closure.
• Collaborating across teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Contribute to the creation of sales materials, presentations, and value propositions.
• Represent ebankIT at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as a trusted advisor and product expert.
