Job summary

Organon LLC in Lisbon is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our HR Employee Services team. You will support employees on a wide range of HR topics, manage onboarding, job changes, and terminations, and ensure data integrity within our HR service platform.

You will collaborate with HR partners across countries, adhere to GDPR and local labor laws, and contribute to process improvements and SOP updates while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in HR operations, HR shared services, or HR generalist.
• Experience in a multinational environment supporting multiple countries.
• Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
• Has a customer service mindset.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Employee Lifecycle Support: Onboard, update job changes, and terminations in line with procedures and SLAs.
• HR Systems & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate HR records and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Employee Inquiries & Case Management: Support employees on HR policies and inquiries via case management system.
• Coach & train new team members and share HR best practices.
• Review, maintain, and update SOPs and internal documentation.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to European labor laws and company policies; support audits and filings.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and support process enhancements and automation.
• Collaboration: Work with HR Business Partners, CoEs, and external vendors to ensure alignment across countries.
