Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Customer Specialist for a Car Rental Project in Portugal. You will support customers across the rental journey, handling reservations, vehicle information, bookings, payments, and service inquiries via phone, email, and chat.

The ideal candidate is fluent in French (C1/C2) and English (B2), with at least 1 year of customer support experience, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Relocation assistance and onsite work are offered.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French (C1/C2) and English (B2).
• EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency card.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Support.
• Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities.
• Professional, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer support via phone, email, chat, and other digital channels.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to car reservations, vehicle availability, rental agreements, payments, pick-up and return procedures, and services.
• Provide clear and accurate information while following company policies, procedures, and established guidelines.
• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions efficiently and within the required timeframe.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating complex cases to the relevant teams when necessary.
• Assist customers with booking modifications, cancellations, extensions, and other rental-related requests.
• Accurately record customer interactions, requests, actions, and resolutions in internal systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments and rental locations to investigate and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date with vehicle options, rental services, booking processes, company policies, and procedures through ongoing training.
