Cross Border Talents in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Customer Specialist for a Car Rental Project. You will support customers across the rental journey via phone, email, chat and other channels, handling reservations, payments, pick-up/return details and changes.

A strong emphasis on clear, timely solutions and policy adherence guides daily work. Fluency in French and English, EU/Portuguese residency, and at least one year in customer support are required.

Qualifications

• Language skills required: French at advanced level and English at intermediate/upper-intermediate level.
• Eligibility: EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency card.
• Experience: minimum 1 year in Customer Support.
• Skills: strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities.
• Mindset: professional, detail-oriented, proactive, eager to learn in CS.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly customer support via phone, email, chat and other channels.
• Assist customers with car reservations, vehicle information, rental agreements, payments, and procedures.
• Deliver clear and accurate information following company policies.
• Understand customer needs and offer efficient, timely solutions.
• Handle questions, concerns and complaints, escalating complex cases when needed.
• Process booking modifications, cancellations, extensions and related requests.
• Record interactions and actions accurately in internal systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and rental locations to resolve issues.
• Maintain high standards of service, accuracy and productivity.
• Stay updated on vehicle options, services, processes, and policies through training.
