Cross Border Talents in Portugal is seeking a Customer Specialist for a Car Rental Project to deliver high-quality support across reservations, vehicle information, payments and service-related needs. You will assist customers through phone, email and chat, ensuring clear guidance and timely resolutions.

Fluent French and English, at least 1 year in customer support, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset are required.

Qualifications

• EU citizenship or Portuguese residency required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer support.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong analytical, creative and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer-focused support via phone, email, live chat and other channels.
• Answer questions on reservations, vehicle availability, payments and pick-up/return.
• Provide clear information aligned with policies and service standards.
• Assess needs and identify suitable solutions promptly.
• Handle concerns professionally and escalate complex cases when needed.
• Process booking changes, cancellations and extensions.
• Document interactions and resolutions in internal systems accurately.
• Coordinate with rental branches to investigate and resolve issues.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction through service quality, accuracy and productivity.
• Participate in ongoing training on vehicle categories, bookings, and procedures.
