Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Customer Specialist for a Car Rental Project to assist customers at every stage of their rental experience. You will provide reliable information and effective support for bookings and service-related needs.

The role requires fluent French and English, EU citizenship or Portuguese residency, and at least 1 year in Customer Support. Onsite work with opportunities for growth and a languages bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French (C1/C2) and English (B2)
• EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Support
• Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities
• Professional, detail-oriented, proactive, eager to learn and grow in CS

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused support through phone calls, emails, live chat, and other channels.
• Respond to questions regarding reservations, vehicle availability, rental conditions, payment procedures, and pick-up and return arrangements.
• Provide accurate, easy-to-understand information in line with company policies and service standards.
• Assess customer needs and identify suitable solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage customer concerns and complaints professionally, referring complex cases to appropriate departments.
• Process requests involving booking changes, cancellations, rental extensions, and other service-related matters.
• Document customer interactions, requests, and resolutions accurately in internal systems.
• Work closely with internal teams and rental branches to investigate issues and ensure effective resolution.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service quality, accuracy, and productivity.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about vehicle categories, rental options, booking procedures, and company guidelines.
