Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Customer Specialist for a Car Rental Project in Porto. You will support customers across booking and service requests via phone, email, chat, and other channels to ensure a smooth rental experience.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in customer support, fluent French and English, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset focused on accurate and timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French (C1/C2) and English (B2).
• EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency card.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Support.
• Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities.
• Professional, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in CS.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer support via phone, email, chat, and other digital channels.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to car reservations, vehicle availability, rental agreements, payments, pick-up and return procedures, and services.
• Provide clear and accurate information while following company policies and guidelines.
• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions efficiently within the required timeframe.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Assist with booking modifications, cancellations, extensions, and other rental-related requests.
• Accurately record interactions, requests, actions, and resolutions in internal systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments and rental locations to resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, accuracy, and productivity.
• Stay up to date with vehicle options, rental services, booking processes, policies, and procedures through training.
