Job summary

Kats Recruitment is seeking a French-speaking Technical Support Specialist in Porto to diagnose backend database issues, run data queries, and support enterprise software clients in French and English. The role combines advanced troubleshooting with collaboration across product and engineering teams in a hybrid work setup based in Porto, Portugal.

You will work on SQL-based data integrity, application errors, and data pipelines, while ensuring data governance and client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native French with strong technical communication skills.
• English proficiency for collaboration and documentation.
• Experience in technical support, DB administration, or system analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced technical and application support to French- and English-speaking clients via ticketing systems, email, and calls.
• Investigate and resolve software issues, database integrity problems, and transaction failures by querying relational databases with SQL.
• Formulate and execute SQL scripts to inspect data pipelines and correct records safely.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring bugs and data discrepancies.
• Document findings, reproduction steps, and workarounds in Jira or ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and Tier-3 teams to resolve defects.
• Uphold data governance, security, and confidentiality policies.
