Tivoli Hotels & Resorts in Coimbra, Portugal, is seeking a Sub-chefe de Mesa to join the Food & Beverage team. You will take orders and deliver food and beverages, ensuring an outstanding guest experience in a premium hotel setting.

Key duties include guest service excellence, upselling opportunities, and close coordination with kitchen and banqueting teams. Fluency in local language and English are valued, with vocational hospitality training preferred.

Qualificações

• Fluency in local language and knowledge of English is highly valuable.
• Vocational training in hospitality/F&B is required or advantageous.
• Experience with POS and restaurant software is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to brand standards.
• Maintain contact with guests during breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of frequent guests and their preferences.
• Be aware of and promote the hotel’s F&B products and services.
• Review daily specials with the F&B team.
• Coordinate with Kitchen staff to ensure accurate, prompt orders.
• Set up and clean restaurant and meeting room tables as required.
• Handle billing and payments at the POS.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and increase F&B revenue.
• Ensure F&B outlets are clean and ready for guests.
• Follow health, safety and customer service guidelines.
