Job summary

Unit4 is seeking a Collections Team Lead to guide a small team in maximizing cash collection, reducing overdue debt, and resolving customer disputes. You will report to the Collections Team Lead and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Billing, Customer Success, and Legal to secure commercially sound outcomes.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership in credit control, strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a collections team to maximise cash collection.
• Monitor aged debt, disputes, and cash targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Billing, Customer Success and Legal.
• Identify and mitigate bad debt risks and recoveries.
• Analytical reporting on collections performance and risk.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Collections Specialists.
• Monitor collection performance, aged debt, and cash targets.
• Support team members with escalated and high-value accounts.
• Drive timely collection of outstanding receivables while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Lead the resolution of business disputes with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as main escalation point for complex collection and dispute cases.
• Identify and mitigate bad debt risks and recommend recovery actions.
• Produce regular reporting on collections performance, disputes, and account risk.
• Continuously improve collections processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
