Caixa Mágica Software is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join the WM APS team. You will handle Incidents, service requests, and L1/L2 support in shifts and on-call rotations within a banking environment, focusing on core operations and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

You will contribute to monitoring, incident analysis, and knowledge transfer, improving service quality and DR/live play readiness, while collaborating with global APS colleagues.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of Linux, CLI, and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse).
• Infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform.
• Public cloud experience (IBM Cloud / AWS / Azure) and containerization (K8s, Docker).
• ITIL practices and strong English communication.
• Master’s degree in CS or CE and 5+ years IT ops/engineering.
• Hands-on with IBM/AWS/Azure/Google cloud and Ansible/Docker.

Overview:

This position is created to be a team member of the WM APS team and to handle Application Support activities. Candidate will play a major role in handling Incidents, service requests and Application Support activities in shifts and on-call rotations.This member will also contribute to the service improvement activities, and participate to support bank’s DR/Live play activities. Ideal candidate will have a strong understand of core banking operations, trouble shooting skills, and experience with L1/L2 support in a banking environment with expertise on Linux, PL-SQL, Dynatrace, K8, Docker and Ansible.

What will you do?

• Provide Application Production support for WM IT Data platform applications and tools
• Capability to analyze system / middleware / application logs and identify potential issues
• Service monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of the service quality and availability
• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and terraform scripts to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments
• Assist & train other ops profiles on Ansible, Dockers and K8s

Direct Responsibilities: As a team member of WM APS, you will have to:

• Escalate timely to the divisional lead on possible risks, escalation matters and management issues
• Adhere to Service Level objective target for the incidents and requests
• Review and create application Support knowledge articles
• You will be part of 24/7 production support team (i.e Shifts/on-call/Weekend/Public holidays)
• Participate and support bank’s DR/Live play activities
• Participate and validate the knowledge transfer sessions conducted by the Application development teams for application changes

Contributing Responsibilities:

• Risk Mitigation – By enforcing production‑readiness checks, robust monitoring and strict compliance, the lead reduces operational and regulatory risk
• Customer Confidence – High‑availability services and transparent communication to develop the relationship with Wealth Management Business
• Operational Efficiency – Automation, continuous‑improvement initiatives and clear knowledge‑transfer lower mean‑time‑to‑detect (MTTD) and mean‑time‑to‑resolve (MTTR), delivering cost savings
• Team player & collaborator – Close partnership development team members and other APS team members globally to manage a stable production platform for the business

What are we looking for?

• Strong knowledge of Linux platform, CLI and Shell Scripting
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred)
• Good understanding of Continuous integration (Jenkins, T+P240ravis, Concourse, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform.)
• Good Public cloud environments experience with IBM Cloud or AWS or Azure, K8 and Docker
• ITIL Practices
• Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering
• At least 2+ years of hands‑on experience with a Cloud provider (IBM/AWS/Azure/Google)
• At least 2+ years of hands‑on experience Ansible/Docker
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294)
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Developing Adv. Automation with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (DO374)
• Optional: HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003)
• Optional: HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate (002)
• English – Expert
• Strong critical thinker with problem solving approach
