Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Provide L1/L2 production support for business-critical applications.

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join a global production support team responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of critical Wealth Management applications.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong Linux and automation skills who enjoy troubleshooting complex production environments, driving continuous improvements, and working with modern cloud and DevOps technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 Application Production Support for business-critical applications.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, service requests, and application issues within agreed service levels.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential risks and service improvements.
• Analyze system, middleware, and application logs to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
• Support and mentor team members on automation tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and operational best practices.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises, production readiness activities, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge articles.
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and global operations teams to ensure platform stability.
• Participate in a 24/7 production support rota, including shifts, on-call, weekends, and public holidays.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux, command line (CLI), and Shell Scripting.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Concourse, or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and production support processes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Operations, Application Support, or Software Engineering.
• At least 2 years' experience working with cloud platforms.
• At least 2 years' hands‑on experience with Ansible and Docker.
• Experience supporting critical production environments is highly valued.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294).
• Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (DO374).
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate (optional).
• HashiCorp Vault Associate (optional).
