Caixa Mágica Software is seeking a seasoned IT Operations professional to join the WM APS team in Portugal. You will handle incidents, service requests and general application support, contributing to DR/Live play activities and service improvements.

The role requires strong Linux/CLI skills, scripting, and hands-on cloud experience with multiple providers, plus automation with Ansible and Terraform. A Master’s degree is preferred and 5+ years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years in IT Operations or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with a CloudProvider (IBM, AWS, Azure, Google).
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Ansible and Docker.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts for provisioning, configuration and deployments.
• Containerize legacy applications and work on Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Assist and train other ops profiles on Ansible, Terraform and Kubernetes; participate in on-call rotations.

This position is created to be a team member of the WM APS team and to handle Application Support activities. Candidate will play a major role in handling Incidents, service requests and Application Support activities in shifts and on-call rotations. This member will also contribute to the service improvement activities, and participate to support bank’s DR/Live play activities. Ideal candidate will have a strong understand of core banking operations, trouble shooting skills, and experience with L1/L2 support in a banking environment with expertise on Linux, PL-SQL, Dynatrace, K8, Docker and Ansible.

What will you do?

• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and terraform scripts to automate provisioning, configuration and deployments
• Work on containerization of legacy applications
• Assist & train other ops profiles on Ansible, Terraform and K8s

What are we looking for?

• Strong knowledge of Linux platform and CLI
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred)
• Good understanding of Continuous integration (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform.)
• Good Public cloud environments experience with IBM Cloud or AWS or Azure
• Strong critical thinker with problem solving approach
• Good written and oral communication skills
• High level of persistence, can-do attitude & pro-activeness
• Master’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering
• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering
• At least 2+ years of hands‑on experience with a Cloud provider (IBM/AWS/Azure/Google)
• At least 2+ years of hands‑on experience Ansible/Docker
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294)
• Developing Adv. Automation with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (DO374)
• Optional: HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003)
• Optional: HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate (002)
