Job summary

Inetum in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to deliver L1/L2 production support for critical applications. You will monitor incidents, coordinate releases, and ensure SLA adherence while driving reliability through automation.

The role requires strong Linux/Ansible/Docker/Kubernetes skills, Terraform, PL/SQL, Dynatrace, and scripting in Python or Bash. Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD practices is essential. 24/7 rotations apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Application Support, IT Operations, Software Engineering, or Production Support.
• Strong experience in production environments, preferably within Banking or Financial Services.
• Solid knowledge of: Linux (Red Hat), Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, PL/SQL, Dynatrace, Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 Application Production Support for business-critical applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
• Ensure smooth execution of workflows, batch processes, and data transfers.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem resolution per SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Coordinate and support application releases and production deployments.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash.
• Support and maintain Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Implement monitoring and proactively improve system performance.
• Maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge repositories.
• Participate in 24/7 support rotations, on-call activities, and Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement.
