Senior Production & DevOps Support Engineer

Job summary

Inetum Portugal is seeking an experienced Production Support professional to ensure stability and performance of production applications. You will monitor, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to major incident management and continuous service improvements.

You will deploy and manage releases, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance observability using Dynatrace, Grafana, and related tools. Proficiency in Portuguese and English is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Application Production Support or related environments.
• Strong experience with Java Application Servers (Red Hat JBoss EAP) and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Cloud environments.
• Experience with API Gateway solutions (Axway, Apigee).
• Strong knowledge of RHEL Linux.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Jaeger).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Nexus).
• Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform for automation.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Portuguese (Fluent) and English (Professional working proficiency).

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability, availability, and performance of production applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, problems, and performance issues.
• Participate in major incident management, RCA, and continuous service improvement.
• Manage deployments, releases, and change requests per ITIL and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Scrum teams as well as external providers.
• Implement and enhance monitoring and observability across production environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing within global teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations supporting business-critical applications.
