Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks an insurance customer service agent fluent in Romanian and English to handle inquiries by phone and email on-site. You will assist customers with policy details, cancellations, and general product information.

You will support insurance brokers, use CRM and internal tools, and maintain high service standards in a dynamic, international environment. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating shifts between 07:30 and 20:00.

Qualifications

• Romanian at C2 level and English at B2 level or above.
• Previous experience in insurance customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented approach and professional attitude.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using digital tools and multiple platforms.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support in Romanian and English via phone and email.
• Answer questions about insurance products, policy terms and coverage.
• Assist customers with policy-related requests, including cancellations.
• Support insurance brokers by responding to their enquiries and directing them to the appropriate information.
• Handle customer requests efficiently and provide suitable solutions.
• Use digital tools and internal platforms to manage customer interactions.
• Follow established procedures and maintain high standards of customer service.
