1. Articulate architectural vision, strategy & direction, conceptualizing and experimenting with new/alternative architectural approaches, create and test design models, software frameworks & utilities tools.
2. Develop, implement & manage departmental software development framework, policies, guidelines, and best practices.
3. Lead & guide project teams comprising of Application Developers.
4. Manage & implement software frameworks and utilities tools projects.
5. Monitor and control team progress and resolve issues that arise.
6. Provide technical consultation/guidance/support to project teams on IT platform direction, strategy, resolution to technical issues, and technical solution recommendations.
7. Work with project teams in technical troubleshooting and issues related to software development.
8. Provide direction and support to project managers & project team members and ensure that duties, responsibilities, authority, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.

1. Minimum 7 years working experience on enterprise-level Application Development and 3 years hands-on software/solution architecture design experience.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
3. Knowledge and experience in Software Development Lifecycle (i.e., Waterfall, Agile & Incremental).
4. Experience on cloud-aware application design.
5. Good understanding of networking concepts, protocols & security principles.
6. Able to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
7. Familiar with integration technologies such as messaging queues, API gateways, and enterprise service buses (ESBs).
8. Have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, enterprise architecture principles, and various technologies relevant to their industry. This may include knowledge of programming languages, databases, cloud computing platforms, networking, security, and DevOps practices.
9. Strong in communication/presentation, analytical & interpersonal skills.
10. Good command of English (verbal and written).
11. Able to communicate in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
