Control Tower Logistics Lead: Transport & Quality
Job summary
A global logistics company in Penang is looking for a Lead Control Tower Manager to oversee transport execution and logistics planning. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in logistics operations, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in quality management. This role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders and ensuring compliance with client SLAs. The company offers a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in logistics operations, preferably in a control tower or LLP/4PL environment.
- Minimum 3 years' of experience in quality management, compliance, or continuous improvement roles.
- Minimum 3 years' of experience with TMS, visibility platforms, and transport/logistics processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage control tower teams overseeing transport execution, planning, and exception handling.
- Ensure real-time visibility and proactive resolution of logistics issues across the supply chain.
- Maintain alignment with client SLAs, KPIs, and operational requirements.
