A leading logistics company in Johor Bahru seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage import and export shipments. Responsibilities include communicating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Logistics or a related field and has experience in logistics or forwarding. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Coordinate day-to-day import and export shipments.
Communicate with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and warehouses.
Track shipment status and update customers and internal teams regularly.
Prepare and check shipping documents (invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, COO, customs forms).
Ensure all documentation complies with customs and international shipping regulations.
Arrange cargo pick-up, delivery, and booking of transport.
Enter shipment data into logistics systems or ERP software.
Assist with billing, cost verification, and preparing job files.
Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide shipment updates.
Coordinate with internal departments such as warehouse, operations, finance, and sales.
Monitor shipment timelines and escape issues or delays when necessary.
Ensure proper handover of documents to brokers, carriers, or customers.
Any Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Superior
Min Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or any related field.
Have experience in Logistics or Forwarding.
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
