A leading automotive firm in Klang City is seeking a Spare Parts Manager. The role involves overseeing inventory management, procuring supplies, and coordinating with suppliers. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering or Supply Chain Management and at least 2 years of experience in spare parts management. Strong negotiation, analytical skills, and leadership ability are essential. This position offers an opportunity to enhance sales strategies and improve overall service efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years in spare parts management, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
Responsabilités
Oversee all aspects of spare parts inventory including ordering and control.
Negotiate purchase terms and ensure timely procurement based on demand.
Manage retail counter sales and handle customer inquiries related to parts.
Set and monitor pricing strategies to align with company profits.
Supervise staff and provide training to enhance service efficiency.
Generate reports on stock movement and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Strong knowledge of spare parts cataloguing and inventory systems

Proficient in MS Office and ERP/stock management systems

Description du poste
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
Oversee all aspects of spare parts inventory — ordering, receiving, storage, issuing, and stock control.
Ensure proper stock levels are maintained to prevent overstocking or shortages.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Procurement & Supplier Coordination
Source and evaluate new suppliers for competitive pricing and quality.
Negotiate purchase terms, discounts, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Ensure timely procurement and replenishment based on demand and forecast.
