Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with safety, quality, and legal regulations.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, ensuring effective performance and collaboration.
Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting deadlines.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to improve team performance.
Inventory Control & Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Monitor and track product movement in and out of the warehouse.
Collaborate with inventory management and procurement teams to ensure proper stock levels.
Quality Control & Safety:
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Ensure that all goods are handled, stored, and dispatched in accordance with quality standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or issues immediately.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Ensure that warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, shelving, and pallets, are in good working condition.
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, maintaining an efficient and clutter-free workspace.
Identify areas for process improvement within warehouse operations.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, inventory, and staff attendance.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and team performance to upper management.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Coordinate with external vendors or transport companies for the timely delivery of goods.
