Accountabilities
Project and Contract Management:

- Manage directly major assigned strategic projects and contracts within the defined CxW Project Management framework.

- Project types are mainly focused on Customers’ projects but can also tentatively include internal projects.

Project Management Requirements:

- Brings and Enhances expertise in the Project Management field:

o Scope Management

o Quality Management

o Scheduling

o Procurement

o Risks Management

o Contract Management

o Project Governance

o Project Reporting

o Resourcing

o Communication

- Report deliverability including adequate resourcing, governance and escalation, and accuracy of financials.

- Engage with people across the organization to keep people updated on progress with allocated projects.

- Provide project reporting with a focus on governance (decision taking vs status reporting) and early identification and resolution of risk and issues.

- Through previous contract management experience, the Project Leader will advise on his/her projects regarding Contract Management topics.

Complementary Activities:

- Contribute to promote and support the PMO development within the Company

- Coach and mentor project stakeholders and local project leaders on Project Management discipline

- Continuously involved in the improvement of project management practices and processes as to ensure improvement of the project management culture maturity

- Contribute to the selection, the implementation and the proper use of the portfolio and project management tool suite

Relationship management:

- Establish and maintain close working relationships with internal and external projects stakeholders

- Influence internal stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes, including process improvement, of the PMO

Most challenging duties typically undertaken:

- The coordinated management of very complex projects with a high degree of risk and complexity to achieve critical organizational objectives.

- Regularly handling face to face resource, timing, quality and reporting conversations with senior management and peers to deliver on the accountability and reporting aspects of the role.

- Facilitate behavioral or practical change in areas of project management and matrix collaboration.

- Building appropriate “peer to peer” relationships with others

The job holder will be expected to carry out their role with minimal direction, and to provide expert education, advice, and guidance on the delivery of projects throughout the wider organization

2- Organization

The Project Leader will report to the Global PMO Lead.

Location to be discussed, with regular business trips to the other division sites (mainly APAC, but the position has a worldwide footprint) as well as travel to customers site if relevant for the projects.

4- Education

- Postgraduate degree or Master’s Degree in a related technical field.

- A Project certification would be a plus (Prince2, PMI, etc.)

5- Language

- English Fluent at a professional level.

- Chinese, French, German would be a plus.

6- Key Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skill.

- Strong organisational skills.

- Business and Operations oriented.

- Ability to work on various projects, contracts and questions in a tense environment.

7- Experience

- From 10 years as a minimum in a similar function in an industrial Group with international footprint.

- A significant experience in turnkey and/or EPC projects is a plus.

− Working on Location / At a distance (home-office).

− Ability to travel.
