As a Sports Advisor, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly and professional welcome to a quick and easy payment process, your goal is to deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in the development of its teammates so those who want to build careers within the business can flourish. Responsibilities:

1. To Customers
   • Welcome customers professionally.
   • Commit to customer satisfaction and find suitable solutions for returns, complaints, checkout, etc.
   • Educate customers on omni-channel brand offerings and product ranges.
   • Know the technical features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate products.
   • Build relationships with customers both in-store and online.
   • Passionately share sports knowledge and help customers discover new sports.
   • Encourage subscription/registration of loyalty cards to enhance customer information.
   • Participate in community sports events near the store.
2. To Decathlon Malaysia
   • Understand department goals and work with the team to achieve them.
   • Promote innovation and sports experiences in-store.
   • Increase sales using available resources and tools.
   • Arrange the store layout according to guidelines.
   • Create high-quality store displays based on customer satisfaction principles.
   • Maintain attractive product facing and stock accuracy.
   • Raise awareness about Decathlon Connect among stakeholders.
3. For Safety of People and Goods
   • Enforce safety and security standards.
   • Follow fire safety and evacuation procedures.
   • Implement security procedures to prevent shrinkage.
   • Follow product safety policies regarding storage and expiry dates.
4. Development and Skills
   • Manage personal development and training plans.
   • Participate in training and develop training skills.
   • Assist in improving team skills with leadership support.
