Job summary
A manufacturing company located in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a leader to manage production and planning teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and effective team management. This position offers a chance to develop workplace safety and optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on experience in production line operations.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 & ISO14001 standards is an advantage.

- Develop and implement strategies for efficient production processes.

THIS POSITION IS BASED AT KLK HARDWOOD FLOORING SDN BHD, LOCATED IN IPOH, PERAK.
- Lead and manage production and planning teams to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Oversee daily operations to maximise machine capacity, reduce waste, and optimise resource utilisation.
- Develop and implement strategies and standards for efficient, high-quality production processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, and promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Motivate, train, and develop team members for peak performance.
- Prepare and approve necessary documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational effectiveness and cost efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or equivalent (strong industry experience may be considered).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Hands‑on experience in production line operations.
- Strong organisational, planning, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 & ISO14001 standards is an advantage.
